What's Next? Mark Your Calendars!! The 9th Annual Sammy Fund Weekend October 18 & 19, 2008 9th Annual Sammy Golf Tournament Silent Auction and Dinner

Please join us on Sunday, October 19, 2008
The Sammy Fund will hold the 9th Annual Sammy Fund Silent Auction/Dinner/Golf Event at Westview Golf Course and the Knights of Columbus hall. Shotgun start at 10:30 a.m.
Four person scramble: Multiple Flights Mixed Division Opportunities to win: Cars, Golf Cart, Harley-Davidson Motorcycle	Prizes for: Hole in One Closest to the Pin Most accurate drive Longest putt and more!
Entry fee is $100 per person. This includes:
Registration gifts
Beverages, light lunch and snacks on the course.
Grilled pork chop dinner for golfer and a guest at Knights of Columbus after round.

Doors open at 3:30, meals served from 4:00 to 6:00
Prizes announced at 6:30
Silent Auction from 4:00 to 6:15
Wear a team uniform and win a prize!
		36 teams will compete in several categories for loads of awards, hole-in-one prizes, and much more! Golf will begin with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. at Westview Golf Course (2150 South 36^th St., Quincy, Illinois).
A silent auction and dinner will be held at the Knights of Columbus reception hall (700 South 36^th St.). Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Dinner is served from 4 to 6 p.m. The silent auction and raffle will run from 4 to 6:15. The Great River First Tee Program will provide fun “SNAG” golf games for children. All activities and meals for children are free.
How can you help us reach out to even more children this year? Join us for a delicious grilled pork chop meal ($10) at the Knights of Columbus Come support the silent auction/raffle, with chances to bid on hundreds of sports memorabilia items, fun vacation packages, and hundreds of wonderful packages Play or sponsor a golf team ($100 per golfer fee covers tournament, cart rental, dinner, and loads of prizes) Golf tournament hole sponsorships are available for $200 (Includes program recognition and hole sign) Cash donations are always welcome and help ensure an enjoyable event for the whole family If you have any questions or would like to request a golf registration form, please call The Sammy Fund at 217-242-1527.

Sammy Fund Fall Run/Walk Saturday Oct. 18, 2008 8:00AM Madison Park (24th & Maine Streets) Quincy IL 5K run or 2 mile walk through Quincy's beautiful East End historic district.
